Trinkets and Toys

It was finally time for holidays and Flossie could rest. She packed her things and went to a favourite spot by the beach. Her days were spent lazing on the shore or stretched out in the shade with a good book.
Nightfall brought dancing, and music, as well as the local Trinket and Toy street markets, which were popular and well attended by locals and visiting tourists. Flossie loved shopping, and she had a list.
“I shall buy something for everyone back home.” she said, as she stopped in front of beautifully made toys.
“A kite for best Badger, a sailboat for Busy Beaver, and a big blue bear with pockets for Message Magpie” she thought, “and something for myself.”
After Flossie had returned from holidays and given out her gifts, she unpacked and put her ‘something for myself’ on her pillow. It was a fluffy toy rabbit, and it looked exactly like Flossie herself…
