In a Sticky Situation
“Explain yourself Best Badger!” said Flossie. “What are all these empty wrappers doing here?” as she pointed to the pile that lay at Badgers feet.
“mm mmm. v.ry g..d t.ffy…” Best Badger could only manage a mumble as he had stuffed six or seven in ALL AT ONCE!
“You’ve been into my taffy and it’s ALL GONE!” exclaimed Flossie
“I’m s..ry, its g..d. I c.dn’t h.lp m.slf…” Best Badger replied. “Mm mm. Ph…u..gt..mor?” he asked tentatively.
Of course, Flossie did have more……but they were stashed away for a rainy day or a special occasion….!
